Welcome to Social Studies
In social studies classes, students have the opportunity to think about the world, the nation, the state and our shared community as they learn about history, geography, society, economy and government. There are many opportunities to develop analytical skills as students read, write, discuss and explore experiences from ancient civilizations through current events. We encourage students to engage with the past to help them understand the present and shape the future.
